Description:
This lesson discusses the many aspects pertaining to use of force by security officers, including the use-of-force continuum and standards applied to use of force. Methods for dealing with the growing issue of violence in society, proper techniques for writing reports in use-of-force cases, and emerging trends are also examined.
Objectives:
RECALL the use-of-force continuum and standards for use of force.
IDENTIFY methods for dealing with the growing issue of violence.
RECALL proper techniques for writing reports in use-of-force cases.
IDENTIFY emerging trends pertaining to use of force.
A minimum score of 70 is required to pass a test or graded assignment. Successful completion of all content, test and/or written assignments, and surveys is required to earn CEUs.
