Description:
This lesson discusses a security officer's need to identify and assess risks that may evolve into critical safety conditions in the industrial workplace. The role of security officers in occupational health and safety programs is also discussed and key terminology pertaining to hazards and risks is identified.
Objectives:
RECALL methods for conducting both security vulnerability assessments and self-assessments to identify hazards in the industrial workplace.
IDENTIFY the role of security officers in occupational health and safety programs.
RECALL key terminology and emerging trends pertaining to hazards and risks in the industrial workplace.
A minimum score of 70 is required to pass a test or graded assignment. Successful completion of all content, test and/or written assignments, and surveys is required to earn CEUs.
