Description:
This lesson examines the role of detection technology to assist security personnel in screening and detecting dangerous articles at points of ingress and egress. Factors that influence the selection and implementation of screening operations and detection equipment, along with considerations pertaining to the use of drone technology, are also discussed.
Objectives:
RECALL types of detection equipment and devices.
RECALL the use of drones for surveillance and detection.
A minimum score of 70 is required to pass a test or graded assignment. Successful completion of all content, test and/or written assignments, and surveys is required to earn CEUs.
