Description:
This lesson discusses the definitions, types, and properties of hazardous materials, as well as the role of security officers in handling hazardous materials. Response to hazardous materials incidents, response models and templates, and tools and resources for security officers are also discussed.
Objectives:
RECALL the nature of hazardous materials and the role of security officers in handling such materials.
IDENTIFY procedures for responding to hazardous materials incidents.
A minimum score of 70 is required to pass a test or graded assignment. Successful completion of all content, test and/or written assignments, and surveys is required to earn CEUs.
